Some nice examples there!!! especially the vert!! If your thinking of selling your zed DONT!!! The prices are gonna rocket in the next 5 years, keep hold of them as long as you can and snap up the cheap ones!!

Bring it on!! were all gonna be rich!!

Not sure if it only came in auto, no reason why it should have, I was just stating that the side skirts fitted to this car are not R' spec.

Its an NA as well... NA auto... yawn!

To be fair they won't sell at that, as you can have a very very nice import for 10k... They might rocket in a few years but not yet, its still a very expensive car to run (although i agree nice ones will fetch a premium soon!) and expensive to maintain if its not been looked after!

Nice, I last saw this one a couple of years ago.....

I don't get why anyone would buy an automatic R spec.

Why not? Power-wise it's no different to a Type S or a standard 300ZX!

I think it was only cosmetic things, like seats and bodywork.

Correct!

the first z for £9995 is cornishwreckers old zed he sold it to a trader & the trader gave him around 5/6 grand for it & put it up for that stupid price!!! it is clean but not 10 grand clean!!! & been up for sale for months & will still be for sale for many more months i reckon!

I thought the type R would be like a lightweight track machine or something.

Hey bud, im not being big headed or cocky, but its called the Version R, not type R, type R's are Hondas :)

Here is a Link to the different Versions:

http://www.300zx.org.uk/model_variations.htm

>> and the rarely available "type R"...

that's not a version-R (also called type-R by the ignorant)...this is:

A few points here...

Your statement "also called type-R by the ignorant" is a bit out of order and totally un-called for.

And who says that the one in the original link is NOT a Version R? The one in the link is a 1998 model, whereas the one in your link is the face-lifted 1999 model.

Now the one in the link looks very nice, although a little out of my price range at £14000, and I'm sure some would argue that it's not worth the extra money, but if I had the money I would :D

Speaking of ignorant. I thought the type-r was a mistake!!. I didn't even know it existed :headvswal

Sorry, wasn't meant to offend anyone.

Just wanted to point out the type-R naming is Honda talk...and not used by Nissan

Version-R's are twinturbo's...the one in the link obviously isn't.

The price will not rocket ever because they are so expensive to run, also when the prices do begin to go up, they will start importing them again and thus bringing the prices back down again. Enjoy the ride and the ever lowering bank account.

Well my ignorance is slowly turning into knowledge, but only with the help of you guys on this forum, so thanks for the education

Try and learn something new everyday and all that. :o

The silver Z add says Non Turbo but it does have TT front Bumper......

Sorry bud, but I beg to differ again..... check out the 1999 spec brouchure, Version R's are available in both TT and NA.
