We finished the manual conversion yesterday, and I have to say it has completely transformed the car.

 

Terry has been a tremendous help, and spent lots of time coming down every day to get on with the work. Many missing parts later and its finaly finished :D

It was definately worth the wait, and now shes back on the road, just in time for winter lol...

Thanks mate. All I can say is that if you are planning to do it just do it lol, you wont look back, the car feels so much more alive now. Just make sure you have all the parts before hand... I was missing one flywheel bolt and that meant almost a weeks delay...

Might have been you I spotted some couple months ago, very similar car with HID lights?

Yup, if I ever had to change my Zed for another, it would be for a manual everytime without a doubt :D It seems like the autbox blowing up was a good thing after all...
