can some one please tell me what this belt is for and also what the things its attached to do (if that makes sense) sorry brain isnt working to much alcohol last night!

the belt is for your air con, the smaller circle is the tensioner pulley wheel for the A/C and the larger circle is the A/C pump

take it all off, scrap the ac, its for sunny countries......

the belt isnt there anyway, i wanted to know what they was incase it was a vital belt needed lol

if the belt isn't there and you aren't bothered about reinstating the air con, then as jimmy said remove the lot - all the components weigh quite a bit and help clog up the engine bay ;)
