anyone know what actuator pressure i should calibrate my gt25r turbos to?

Im fitting hks adjustable actuators and im not sure which psi to calibrate them to?!?!

 

was thinking 10-12psi?

 

If it helps they are the same as the jwt530bb or the z1 gt535r anyone have these turbos fitted? do you know the what the actuators are set to or even what they boost to at base pressure?

    When i had the GT28R,s i did mine to 10 psi

    they bigger arnt they? thats a bit low i would have thought.... what max did you run them to?

    I dont know as when i ws setting up the boost controller the heads went so out came the engine and a complete rebuild with TD05 18G,s etc.

    I get it back for xmas finished or not

    I'd set them to about 12 psi

     

    rule of thumb is to preset the wastegate actuators to about 2/3 of the maximum boost you are planning to run.

     

    GT25(54)R's start to loose efficiency above 22 psi.

    Max. safe boost on regular fuel is 18 psi
