Want to replace my standard speakers with something better but without hacking into the trim. What have people used & where's best to buy?

Featured Replies

Size wise you'll need 6 1/2 round in the front and 6 x 4 in the rears - With that combo you wont need to hack or modify anything apart from having to drill for four holes in the front panel as the OEM ones are a three hole fitment.

Not considered the cost tbh! Assume less than £100 but I know nowt about speakers, hence the post!

oh I want to do the same for mine ... thx for the info :) Also I would like to put a small discreet switch on for the auto antenna, as I don't really listen to the radio. Any advice on where would be the best place to access that, ala bottom right of http://www.300zx-twinturbo.com/cgi-bin/manual.cgi?list=diag&dir=&config=&refresh=&slide=2&cycle=off&scale=0&design=default&total=4 ?

JBL GTO'S all round in mine when I got it. All are in original mounts and sound awesome. I work in a music shop and JBL are one of the top speakers in the world.
