if the clutch sertvo vacuum line has been T from the brake servo vacuum line with a short hose this can cause pulsing

if it has been simply T pieced then be aware that if the clutch servo does spring a leak you will loose the power assist on the brakes

well the pipe was split and it looked like it was going to leak so i shortened it , it goes direct into the manifold pipe which splits between both intakes , how can i stop this

I got a vacuum tank from a Primera from a scrap yard, its about a 4 inch cylinder, came with a bit of hose and a one way valve to, for a fiver! I mounted it next to battery, and ran the hose from the clutch booster, to the tank, then to the balance bar... I have also heard tho, that you can just use a couple of feet of piping for the clutch, that can cure it too, although you still should have a one way valve in there somewhere too... HTH,

You are missing the one way valve that fits between master cylinder and the balance bar. The missing vacuum tanks are not the problem and only help with the pedal assist.

I bought a new one way valve from MJP when my conversion was done.

Also worth noting that without the vacuum tanks the pedal can lose some of the servo assist when changing gear if you don't completely back off the gas and it is harder for a moment. I am running about without vacuum tanks and it is not a problem, just something to be aware of.

a scrap yard is your best bet, but if you don't know what you looking for, then i would imagine any half decent car shop should sell one, just take the pipe that comes off your clutch booster with you so ya get the right size... I would put a pic up for you mate but my phone is knackered! You'll want to fit the one way valve so that the arrow on it (they usually have one) if facing away from the clutch booster, i think! sorry my brains not working today :duffer:

If i can get you a picture i will do, my setup works well and it's off the car at the mo as i'm fitting a new wiring loom.....

Hope this helps matey, maybe someone will pop on with more info for ya...

Get the one way valve and it should stop the pulsing, Talk to Jeff he should have a few about
