Been trolling through the searches and cant find what Im looking for...

 

I want my HIDS to stay on all the time but when you switch main beam they turn off.

 

I remember a mod to enable them to stay on and from what I remember its to earth one of the earth wires to the dipped beam bulb (now ballast)

Is that right?

that's right, there is also a more complicated version involving a relay

Its very simple.

 

Where you plug your hid kit into the original blub connector you can earth it from there. Just wrap a little wire around and through the little hole on the spade connetor and pop it into the original connetor.

 

Then just earth the wire then straight to the body of the car.
