Cheaper Alternative To a Dry Sump

Once the car is running well and the live mapping is done I'm going to do some track days but I am concerned about oil starvation. It seems a dry sump system will be £1-1.5k+ which is out of budget so I've found this

Had a chat with them and seems a good system to prevent oil starvation, going to get one so will keep you updated on how it goes.

    yeah thats what im after also, on some corners the oil pressure needle would fall to zero and back up again,.... scary......

    That's why I got one as I want to do some track days and don't want a new engine to go bang due to oil starvation. Clever system and a fraction of the 2-3k for a complicated dry sump system.

     

    It also prelubes the engine before start up to reduce wear.

    i just put an extra litre of oil in the sump on the track.

    The kit comes with a sandwich plates so you can plumb it in with the oil filter, very easy.
