retro fit electric passenger seat motors to an existing seat?

Hi there -

My leather interior is in REALLY good condition for an all original car but my passenger seat is manually adjusted instead of electric like the drivers seat. Does anybody know if you can retrofit the chassis from an electric passenger seat to my existing standard leather seat?

If you can, does anyone have an electric passenger seat that they are scrapping? Obviously doesn't matter about the condition of the seat as long as the electrics are all working. (assuming we can do what I have suggested)

Let me know!

It's an epic job I'm afraid. You'll have to take the seat skins off the manual seat which is really difficult on older hard leather. You're better off buying the best electric passenger seat you can from a series 2.

Simple case of running cables from the drivers side. I got a spare connector, made myself some loom too and ran it under the carpet. Looks completely retro-fit now. But I looked into various possibilities regarding electrifying the operation on the passenger side. There's a LOT of work involved.
