Which would you choose?

 

Pros

Will be at home 7 days a week instead on 3 and saving 1200 a year on rent living away.

Can spend more family time at home

Basic salary 1k less than current with commision but can earn up to 3k bonus/year

Pension

 

Cons

No company car so will have to buy one.

Enjoy current job and would dread telling the boses I'm leaving

Had over ten years experience in current role so leaving comfort zone and selling new product but still in automotive.

Speak to your boss, tell him the deal you have been offered and ask if there is anything he can do to make you stay. EG more time at home + more money etc.

Yeah, thats a good idea.

I would ask for abit of a payrise maybe.

Dont forget sounds good the extra cash and that and more time at home.......but you then have to go out and buy another car and run that to and from work, then there isnt really any guarentee you will get abonus is there........

For me the niggest decider would have to be the "at home more" bit. But just remember the grass isn't always greener and in my experience rarely is.

Another pro for you... no company car will mean you'll pay alot less tax. I assume if your doing sales calls you can charge your new company milage? So you'll make cash there. Also i assume your company car is some diesel rep mobile? Get something fun as a daily!

 

If it were me I wouldnt think twice, big saving on tax and rent and being at home more often! Getting out of your comfort zone will be exciting and interesting!

Well made the decision and it was one of the hardest I've made. Told the guys today I'm going, they couldn't offer any extra :( so start 4th Jan
