if you have electric windows on the passeger side surely there must be a live there, does anyone have a pic or any usefull info on what wires that control the switch is live and earth please

Are you talking about the live feed for the illumination on your pass door switch?

Unfortunately you need to run a live feed through the door and connect either to the glovebox light with the ground from the door(metal panel) or

for if you want it to dim, both wires need to be fed to the light pod or your auto selector wiring.

Im guessing thats why you need to know, if not ignore me lol

if the problem is that you don´t have any power getting to the door and you´ve checked all the "regular" fuses then...if I,m reading this right, the Nissan workshop manual section EL page 1036 appears to indicate 2 fuses in the connectors themselves ..in connector E105 and E106 it says it´s "fused" ?? or does that mean the connector runs directly to the fuse box....worth taking a look though if you´ve got it all dismantled.

Sorry to hijack but it is on topic. Does anyone have a nice simple diagram for the wiring on the drivers and passengers window switches?
