is it me or does your turbo looks like its at a funny angle...i cant see how your pipes will line up

Just trying to work out how to get them to line up with the new turbos on. Is the air inlet on the turbo at the wrong angle?

its the plenum lol

ahhh crap .... lol i see it now....... :mac1:

i really have no idea why i said that... i was looking at it from a different perspective :(

it really looks different with all that shinyness and no pipes on

oh yeah..just a bit, should more or less point straight up.

best way is to try to line up the bracket which holds the pipe to the right of the green arrow :) think it bolts up just below the plenum

or

if you cant then you can always block up the feed into the turbo hot pipe and run a catch tank from the pipe you have which is a breather pipe

Can anyone tell me that the two pipes I have arrows going to are meant to be connected please?

Not to each other they are not, each meet up with outlets one from the plastic turbo air in and one from the turbo air out, will post a picture soon as I can.

The bottom chromed turbo pipe looks as if it is about 1" to far forward.

It also looks like your silicone elbows are to far on the metal pipe. :)

So just to confirm that A in the pic doesn't connect to B or C?

Think I'm getting confused lol.

Ok thats what i was thinking. I have GT28r tubs, is there a slightly different orientation on the air inlet on the turbos to the OEM ones? As pipe A seems at the wrong angle to be able to connect to C. They dont seem to line up. It seems that the air inlet needs to be pointing in the the upright position for it to be able to line it all up.

Where am i going wrong? Any ideas?

Ant

Just connect your a to b (the pcv pipe ) must say your turbo pipe looks too far forward by about an inch ,as someone mentioned.

Think i've found the problem. I need a Compressor Outlet Adapter Flange which then should adjust the outlet to the right angle.

sounds about right mate, FYI smithy normally knows the answers to these sort of things, always worth giving him a shout

looks like the angle of the dangle is off! if it was straight up it would fit on.
