You have 265/35 x 18 tyres fitted on the rear? I was recommended to use 265/40's rather than match up with the /35's that were fitted to the front. Never did understand why, are they ok?

A 35 profile on a 18" wheel at the rear is the correct size, you will not have a true speed reading if you use 40 profile wink.gif.

Dont mean to be a smartass but its not those wheels that are making your car too low. You need to change springs and raise up your suspension!

If you go bigger tyres you'll get fouling problems and stuff up your gearing and braking to boot.

Got the same size wheels and tyres on mine and its perfect.

Willie

Sorry ive taken so long to reply to this guys - been really busy.

Unfortunatly i cant sell the rims at the moment as i cannot afford to finance the new set i'm after, but will let you know as soon as they are. Gettin married in a few months and my finances are running seriously low, so have no choice but to neglect the Z for a while. I will deffinatly be selling them though.

Willie, i know the wheels are not the cause for the car being so low but is the suspension. The thing is, i dont want bigger tyres on the 18's but bigger wheels. I'm going for a set of 19" rims. 18's look too small on my ride now and i dont want to raise the suspension as i like the clearance between the tyre and wheel arch to be at a minimum.

That's a shame as my Z is going in for a re-fit in the middle of may and need em by then.

I'll just have to order a new set frown.gif
