Part number please

Has anyone got the part number for the pilot bushing for a manual N/A please? want to make sure Nissan know what im on about when i get over there tomorrow.

I phoned them today but they said it was something else, and im not sure the old boy on the end of the phone gathered what i was on about, due to the service manuel calling it a "pilot bushing".

Though he did say the cost was £3.95 + VAT, so he might be correct.

Also, as im on the verge of just saying balls to it, what kind of price should i put my Zed at to sell, bearing in mind its going to need the gear box putting back on, the engine wiring back up (though i think i can manage that with out tools obviously to a certain extent) the front light sorting out, 2 new tires on the rear, and front brake pads, also new engine oil, gear box oil and coolant putting in before you even think about starting it.

dont give up yet!

Ive owned the car just under 2 months, in that time I've driven it a maximum of 18miles, pushed it about 100metres, brought a brand new set of tools coming close to around £200, brought a replacement engine, hired a engine hoist (soon as i found a company doing it with out the need of a deposit so my cash wasn't tied up in it if anything went tits up half way through), had all my tools stolen, before i can put it back together, broke down in it 400miles away from home when the engine went bang. had to do a complete engine swap on me tod, during which my inspection light failed at around 7pm, just after it got dark, so had to do the rest of the engine pull with just a torch as there is no electric in my garage, got the old engine out put the new engine in. gear box came off the jack due to being on my own, emptying its oil all over the place that I've had to clean up.

Still need to figure out why the light on the drivers side isn't working correctly, need to replace 2 tires on the rear due to one developing a slow puncture due to a crack in the side wall ??? (only noticed it today as it looked flattish) got a new baby on the way in about 6 weeks and this car was supposed to be getting me to the hospital and back. not stuck in a garage with not gear box.

Top it off I've had to move everything out of my garage, with father in-law mixing my bolts up, so now i have the fun of figuring out what bolt goes where? 3 o-rings i needed where in my tool chest that got stolen, in total I've spent over 2k on this car already in fuel / tools to repair it / parts / the car its self.

I have no problem spending that amount on a car, just wish it was for smaller things to fix and not a god damn engine swap where some retard who cant keep his god damn fingers to him self has to help him self to other peoples shyte just so he can fuel his f..kin drug habit.

And i know its got to be some idiot as he left a complete SS mongoose exhaust sitting there that was worth well over £350 second hand. and a 5 speed 300zx gear box worth in the region of £400

AAarrrgggghhh!!!!!!!

anyway enough of my ranting, just needed to get that off my chest, now down to the business of getting more tools tomorrow to get this gear box back on:smash:, all the fluids in it :duffer: and getting it back on the road........
