left right turbos?

first of all had a search cant find anything,

bit of a newbie question, but i have 2 T28h 1 used to be on my s13 the other is the spare, the are from a pulsar technically, what is the difference between the left and right turbos? apart from you can get to one but not the other, can i fit my t28h's to it? from pictures and looking at the car can't see any difference, but was on the turbo technics site and the called the right and left?

if not what is the best way to upgrade the turbos?

p.s. my z has finally stopped being temperamental now, cheers for all the advice before.

Yes there is a difference between sides. It's to do with inlet/outlet positions for each side being in different locations to each other.

As for fitting a T28, I do believe that the exhaust fixing is different, but will fit. As for what else would be required, I'm not sure.

Lots of fabricating will be needed to get them to fit on standard manifolds, so easiest way is Rip the T25's out, Bore them out to take your T28 Compressor wheel, shaft etc and fit them back in so no difference to t28 fixings, room in bay etc but all the power of the T28!

Only wish i had done it when i had mine done but maybe next time :)
