The mats are been used as overmats, underneath is the originals.

Jeff

nice to see one like this but out of curiosity why is it at zedworld? Surely everything should be like new?

Possibly just a check up, oil change etc before being used again?

DaZ: The car is not for sale, in for a service.

Damo: If your about tomorrow come and have a look, it even better in the flesh.

Richard:Yes I thought it would be good for all to see.

Dave Zed: Mmm.. I love the 99 spec lights but here originality rules.( EXCEPT THE EXHAUST)

Funky: The arches on the white one are terrible, so are the sills but nothing that cannot be repaired, will post a pic of them tomorrow.

;)

Seen this car today and the only one word for it AMAZING. There is not one mark, the red looks like it hasn't seen day light, the car is as new condition. I looked all over this car and i could not find a mark. Under the car is spotless, if i had the dosh i would offer some serious money. Funkysi you should see this car in the flesh, you would love it.

Magnificent and the kind of car I waited 6 years for and finally gave up!

Who's the owner? Don't want names; just an idea of background etc.

OMG...... talk him out of it jeff. At least try convince the bloke to get another one to do that too. A example like this should be kept as it is, its only ever going to go up in value in its original condition.

I like modified zeds just as much as everyone else but not at the expense of doing it to such a fine example. Has he lost his mind, lol

i like some nicely modified zeds but i really dont think this should be done!!

I think if he wants a change just do the alloys but atleast keep the standard wheels to get put on for shows etc.

Dont do iT!!!!!!

And on the other note if he doesnt i will have his front bumper and nose panel as i quite like them.lol!!

i actually feel for you jeff......going to have to break such a nice example to put the kit on and that.

Please let that be a joke - what a waste.

Still keeps mine even more exclusive ;)

Well the owner came to the workshop today and I spent over an hour explaining why NOT to fit the kit and thankfully he accepted that this particular car would become a lesser zed if the kit was fitted and so all of the bodywork mods have been cancelled:nana2::nana2::nana2:

Jeff TT

how much you reckon he wants for the front bumper.lol!! looks nice.

If it's had one owner since new, why when Nissan relieved him of £40k does he want to bolt on a load of cheap fibreglass to it!?! Beggars belief!

Exactly!! the owner had only seen internet pictures of the bodykit fitted and no idea of the quality, when I showed him the bumper in detail he was very surprised and disapointed in it.

To be fair made my job a lot easier in convincing him to NOT go ahead with it, in fact he mentioned that he was in two minds already and later seemed very relieved that we advised him against it.

So now only having full service, eprom, big brakes, upgraded clutch, rad and an MOT:D

Jeff TT

Sounds good! Hope it keeps it nice, looks like he's done a cracking job of looking after it already! Damn shame I'm not up near you this week as I'd love to have checked that out!
