Hi

Been looking at the Oil Temp gauge , and was wondering where would be the most likely place for the sensor to be placed, (i think it is between the oil filter and the block, but not sure) and how do i get at it?

Regards

Sandwich plates are ok if good quality. Cheap plates will leak. Get a well known make matey.

Okay, Lets assume its on the Oil Filter, Whats the easiest way to see this, from the top?, underneath?, which side ?,

I bought this exact one has done me proud after a few months of being in although i did need to sand down the Rubber gasket as the Nut connecting that to the sump wasnt long enough so would seal properly! After a rub down and ensuring it was flat all is well and remains well!

Its all in the Gasket!

You will be fine with it, i may have just had a short sump nut!
