Call me thick but ive seen a few versions of these some single Maf versions with 2 filters some with no Maf at all, How does that work??? sorry very thick question i know but i want to change mine and have no idea which is the best option.

The ones with one maf but two filters are effectively the same as fitting a single induction kit straight onto the maf.

 

The ones with no MAF, need to be running a map sensor and tend to be running aftermarket engine management.

ok so my car is nowhere near needing aftermarket engine management yet, so is there any real benefit in having a single Maf 2 filter set up? willit make any difference?

you could have 10 filters but air still needs to go in through the throttle bodies so imho no

from what ive read into this mod, the single maf is good for about 550bhp so unless your planning on running a spec close to that, i'd say that you wouldnt see any sort of benefit.

Just fit an Apexi filter, good for 500 bhp. About £80 best filter for the Zed do a search.

That's a universal one and without any fitting parts, which the correct Z32 specific one does, hence the cheaper (slightly) price ;)
