...Can I just disconnect and remove servo, cable etc?

 

Are there [going to be] any issues with just leaving the connector flapping in the wind (with the others)?

T'sok - this is just a clean hatchet job (delete) - no clean up required.

I can confirm that if you have SAW (Shift At Will) that this is also safe to do. SAW uses power from the CC I believe - but it's not affected by this mod. ;-))

yeah leave it flapping in the wind .or tight it up with tie to something and thats it .. job done ..
