One of the first trips i want to arrange for next year is an annual trip to the nurburgring :)

 

A load of us did this a few years ago and i can honestly say it was one of the best trips i have ever been on :)

 

Just looking to gauge numbers and dates at the moment and IF we get enough people that want to take this up i will go into it in more details and get prices etc.

What about insurance? my policy clearly states that im not covered for track and it names the Nurburg ring in particular

Oh, and I am up for the 5 day trip as well...

My insurance clearly states that it wont be insured for the Nurburgring either.

 

Track day insurance is available.....AT A STEEP PREMIUM, but i'm gonna see whats about there. A guy from work went over this year and paid close to £300 to insure his '02 plate Focus RS for the weekend.

tbh most insurance companies wont insure you on a track, hench why my Z32 currently has a large dent down one side...:oops:... but i think the damage is costing about £350 to take out, but was quoted about £500 to insure the car lol

Im not really bothered about if i damage my own car......I'll just fix it when i have the money to.

 

It's a bit more of a problem when you get charged 80 euro per metre of crash barrier you hit or that £160k lamborghini thats lying in a ditch because you side swiped him.

oooh, just noticed this thread... i was going on my annual lemans trip with my work mates next year... NOT ANY MORE! count me in... any date should be fine. im trying to learn the track a little on forza 3 at the mo but its too bloody long!

We all have a few dates in mind, but its getting close and we all need some time to get our zeds ready for the big trip!!

 

If we have all agreed were going in about June/July then we have only 20weeks to get thing`s sorted and book time from work!!

 

Time flys past so quick these days, and before we know it, we will all be panicking and things will get forgotten.

 

So, can we get some firm dates set? and weve all got something to get excited about!!! :hyper:

Hi Bud, I remember mentioned earlier in the thread that other cars were welcome, so bring it on, hopefully my mates will be coming in an E55 Amg merc and a 16v Manta!! and a 350 is certainly a zed!!

 

But no one seem`s interested at the moment, looks like its just us??
