Hey Guys,

Wanted a decent quality hard pipe kit and was wondering if these were any good:

Don't know if Smithy's Place would be the answer or does anyone else know where I should be looking?

Any help would be much appreciated

Cheers in advance - Cyrus

Don't know if anyone has them ones on here bud, I'm sure others will let you know;)

An yes Smithys Place / DTA are the answer

Dave

Have heard some bad feedback about them pipes people saying that they dont fit correctly. Personally it has steered me away from getting them from 2fast2cool. There was a post not long ago showing them compared to the DTA ones and they dont even look shiny id stay clear mate.

Marty

I cant comment on the ebay ones but it tends to be poor quality silicone couplers supplied from most ebay sellers.

Try DTA / Smithys Place or even Z1.

There not very good, the silicone couplers and hose clips are a reasonable quality, but the pipes are hopeless.

They are too long and need to be cut down and the shaped bends are not perfectly correct.

By the time you've filled then full of dents and marks trying to cut them down and get them to fit you will wish you hadnt bothered. :smash:

Hi Cyrus,

Just saw your post re: hard pipe kits and thought I'd better chime in!

Our Smithy's Place hard pipe kits (both boost and radiator pipe kits) are made from mandrel bent mirror polished stainless steel. Our silicone couplers are manufactured in the UK to the highest industry standards and are generally 4-ply plus additional liner - so extremely robust. We offer a choice of fixing clamps - either stainless jubilee clips (free of charge) or stainless T-bolt clamps (additional cost applies).

To give you an idea of pricing:

Boost Pipe Kit: £240.00

Radiator Pipe Kit (top & bottom): £140.00

T-Bolt Clamps (boost pipe kit): £40.00

T-Bolt Clamps (radiator pipe kit): £20.00

Delivery is £9.00 for either kit.

We also do mirror polished stainless intake pipes for the NA which comes in at £190.00

Your choice of silicone couplers are Red, Blue or Black. Any other colours are by special order only and at an additional cost.

Hope the above answers your question at least in regard to the Smithy's Place pipes :)

If you wish to discuss further or place an order, please give me a call on 0845 4744-382.

All the best,

Dan
