main beam not working with HID conversion

I think this is a pretty easy one to solve just wanted to confirm so i know before i go check the car. Put HID conversion on the car and main beam doesnt work now and thinking about the earth is onto the light and not the bulb for the dipped beam so im pretty sure the main beam uses that same earth that i have disconnected. Can someone just confirm this for me cheers

    the earth for the main beam and the earth for the dipped beam both go back to the changeover relay in the big engine fusebox
