WTF..not another reason to put the price of bread and milk up 2 days before:D

But why 2012?? Absokutely love the site...it looks like something from the Dharma Initiative. Complete hokum of course but you've got to admire the work they've put into getting just the right air of calm doom-mongery! But, back to my original point...why 2012!?! Is it an arbitrary date picked at random or is there a particular reason why? Please tell me it's not the whole Aztec calendar end date thing again...Anyway, my money's on the "grey goo" ending. Google it or Wiki it, then hide under the nearest blanket :D ;)

Hi Leigh,

I do believe it is the Aztec Calender end of the world thing!! And something to do with all of the planets coming into line on December 21st 2012 ;)

There's also http://www.whowillsurvive2012.com

Ahhh, that old chestnut :D

BTW, more than slightly off topic but, Re: Stacy...she's currently in LA shooting er...rather naughty videos, so I'll be able to press her about the proposed shoot more when she returns...so to speak ;)

Have you seen either of the trailers for the film?

All i can say is WOW!!! This does look absolutely fantastic!

Saw the one that comes up when you open the film site...it looks pretty damn spectacular...mind you, I laughed out loud at the air-lifted giraffe! :D :D :D

2012.....hmmm Aztec calendar, when the earth is in alignment with the center of the galaxy, when someone has to purchase a new calendar,

I love all this hype, so what if the mayan calendar ends, ours do every year (always seems to be around the 31st of December too), and who can forget the millennium bug, hahaha what a pile of tosh that was, scaremongering to sell something, when all you had to do was set your clock to 31/12/1999 and see what happened to your things the next day?.....nothing lol.

How many people fell for that "software" that made the millennium bug disappear, on their computer? then say the reason nothing happened was because i used such an such.

Just wait till it gets nearer the day, im sure someone will be trying to make a quick buck off it somewhere.

oh yeah, this might come true after all, we Brits need some excuse as to why the 2012 olympics have gone slightly over budget lol
