Went to Zedworld today for a conzult/health check. Just to add my recommendation (to the many) to anyone needing work done its worth the trip. Great set up, facilites and knowledgeable staff.

Whole heartedly agree, i went there today and was met with really friendly staff, great service and as much coffee as i could drink.

 

I will definitely be going back at the end of the month when i get paid.

 

It was definitely worth the drive, and i think i'll be going there for all my Zed needs in the future.

i also went there today and cant agree more the staff are very freindly and helpfull. And i owe them one for looking at my zed thanks guyz ill be gettin all my zed work done there provided i cant do it myself. and you do make a good cuppa lol

it was nice to meet you bud, sorry i flew off without saying bye but i was in shock of the results of the diagnostics lol. hows your zed after its cough and drop test?

Not too bad mate, just gotta replace the thermostat and the hicas arms are going to need replacing before the next mot.

sort of bad, showing all the signs of a failing gearbox so its a matter of when it goes pop, could be a year could be a week (GULP) so a new one in the new year i think, box that is not car. and it was in safe boost so i wasnt gettin full potential from the cars performance.

The tension rod bushes have gone, a shock is leaking, very slight oil leak and needs a new air con condensor.

 

But its very very clean underneath and Jeff reckons the brakes are the best he's seen.

I can confirm this zed has the very best standard brake system we have come across, they have feel and effectivness of a new modern car, I was amazed to discover it has totally standard kit:shock: concidering how good they are.

 

Oh and Phil its your air compressor not condensor that needs replaceing:D

I can confirm this zed has the very best standard brake system we have come across, they have feel and effectivness of a new modern car, I was amazed to discover it has totally standard kit:shock: concidering how good they are...................Jeff

 

I know - i thought the same when I test drove that very car before Phil bought it. I reckon it could outbrake my SLK!!

 

I'd say it just shows how good the ZX brakes were when the car was new:bow:; before the repeated stopping of a 1.5 tonne 155mph GT car took its toll on the original systems in most of the rest of our cars!
