Hi

Managed to grab some time today to try and figure how/where to mount the Aeromotive FPR and filter - finally decided to mount them to the passenger side engine skin as below. I fabricated the filter bracket from the original fuel filter bracket lol. It will get powder coated or chromed. Just polished currently.

Works out quite well as the fuel supply comes UP nicely into the filter - exits filter via a a 35 degree 8AN - then into an 8AN/2 x 6AN splitter that will then loop out to the fuel rails. (Parallel feed) - then exit from the rails back to the two 6AN' on the FPR and out the bottom back to the fuel return/tank. Sweet.

Any comments, hints or tips appreciated.

Also polished up the remainder of the intercooler piping ready for chroming next week..

Hi matey

Not zcentre - made them myself - 3 pieces - engine skins are good if you want to change/or have already changed the colour of your car - but not had the engine out to spray the engine bay the same. IN my case the car colour was ruby red - and the car is currently Ferrari Red so... :o

Yes - I have just polished them - they need to be chromed - they are the 4 intercooler pipes/plumbing on the front of the car chassis - I have already polished/chromed the two kinda attached to the side of the plenum.

Hope that helps.

Thanks for the feedback guys - appreciated.

Andy

I have modded this design slightly and created a nice 'seat' for the Fuel Filter - rather than a bracket as before - here is a quick pic...

The three holes and the raised area are for the Fuel Pressure Regulator mounting.

I will be making a couple of stainless straps to hold that baby down ;-)

Slight update - made a bracket from a T-Bolt hose clamp and have cleaned up a lot of lines. Just needs a coat of hi-build now and ready for paint.

Not sure if the 'Y' piece (output to rails) will stay there - but it's temp for now until I get the rest of the plumbing bits together and see how the braided bends work out. Spent nearly 400 on Aeroquip hose and fittings so far jeeez!
