Here is a little gem, guy from the US is over here for 3 years and had his zed transported over at a cost of $2,500 needed it modded to pass a UK MOT, some very subtle differences but had to take a photo of the seats belts, double retracting and double length!! had it explained to me that the reason its so long is so you can get in and out without unclicking the belt.....or maybe other reasons ;)

Sure Funky si has seen many of these on his US travels :hyper:

Yeah, there are a few more subtle differences. 160mph clocks, the rear bumper is different, not as deep as JDM rears and the numberplate cutout is slightly different. mirrors are non-electronically folding. Also has locking t-tops, running lights.

Haven't just seen plenty of them, driven about 6 different US spec Z32s, 2+2, TT, slicktop, Verts, all sorts.....and starting any US spec Z, you need to have the clutch pedal depressed to start it.

Here's me but 2 weeks ago driving a 2+0 up the I20 heading toward Alabama. :D

That's a belting car!!!

Thank you , Im just glad I got the car and my wife back in one piece after the cruise down to Alabama

What wheels are they? They look awesome!

In the Supercars magazine from 1991, it says that the US spec cars have stiffer damping and quicker steering than the European spec'd versions. Anybody know if this is true and how do they compare to the J-specs?

Not sure about the steering, but US spec Z32s came with adjustable damping. Small button where the heated seat switches are on UK spec Z32s.
