howdy mate, good to see another scot onboard. and dont worry you are not alone, I've got a mark 1 currently laid up til I get round to getting head gasket done.

If you look at some of the posts you'll see some similar stories...CraigTT springs to mind, he is another scot just about nearing the end of a major engine overhaul too and is getting excited, I'm sure it will be worth the wait when you get it sorted
