Very Clean UK car. Madness money spent recently - more new parts than old (turbos, heads, bottom end engine rebuild etc. etc etc.) Loads of history, 12months MOT taxed. Loss of 3rd 4th gears the final staw. Any reasonable offer considered.

Sorry to hear of your problems, how many miles has the car done, am I right in presuming it is a manual, and who did the engine rebuild?

No its auto. It's done 146K miles, and the rebuild was done at my local garage (where I have always had my cars repaired / seviced) last week. If you are concerned at the rebuild quality, I still have the old parts (fished them out of the bin when the gearbox stopped), the receipt, and I'm sure that the work is guarenteed.

My advice is to get that box fixed!!.......i posted a method on how to check the electronic system of the auto box....check it out..in the technical forum under your post...

A shagged 300ZX aint worth big money, so to even come close to getting a fraction of wht you've spent out, i say fix it!!!.....Also the mileage may put people off....!!......you own one of the greatest perfomance cars ever built...A believe it or not they can be VERY reliable!!

SI B. I know what you are saying on both counts, but the fact is I'm pretty much basnkrupt now, and still need to get to work on monday!

 

So the sad fact is I'm sitting here hoping to get away with only dropping a couple of grand in the last 3 weeks - this has got to be the deal of the centuray to one of these technical wizzards out there - hasn't it?

Based on the market value, and the potential cost to repair I think its worth about £3000. Oviously nearest offer buys it.
