Thought it would be an interesting thread to see what all us ZED owners do for a job? and describe what you have to do day to day.

I will start...

I own a dot com company (im sure that a few of you use my sites as we look after millions of people in the uk), its very varied day to day. Some days you have mountains of problems to deal with ranging from Staff, Hackers, and literally thousands of moaning people or techical problems. To other days where you can be creative coming up with new ideas and applications and get a great sence of achievement. I do love what I do but sometimes things move a bit slowly for my liking. :duffer:

On the plus side I have one of the guys in the office building me a nice site so I can post up all my progress and pictures on my 300zx.

I am now a Police CCTV Control room Supervisor for a Joint Military/Civil Police Station, covering the Largest Army Garrison in Europe and the local town. I have lost count of how many drink drivers I've had arrested. I love it, it's the best most exciting job i have had since leaving the Army. it's like getting paid to watch ROAD WARS.

Senior Pharmacy Technician (Registered) in the NHS, manufacturer of bespoke unlicensed medicines in the laboratory, such as Aseptics, Non-sterile and Sterile, mainly doing immunosuppresants at the moment. But also handle controlled drugs (all schedules). But when I am not in the lab, I can either be in the wards giving patients their prescriptions and giving advice to patients about their medications, or helping the quality control department with audits. :) - I really enjoy it, quite varied and interesting.

Until recently, when I took a redundancy package, I used to work in IT, in either networks or security. So far this year I haven't done any real work, but who knows, that may change sometime ....

Well, if i had known you had that much time on your hands i would have given you a shout over summer!

Personally I now teach guitar all day, tis a cool job, get the holidays etc, just not the money! It`s very rewarding seeing people of all ages progress and develop though, especially the young ones as they gain confidence and a sense of achievement.
