if i can source some uk dials does it matter if they come out of a auto or a manual, also i guess they will still restrict the car (not like it matters)

The ecu is what restricts the car, get it rechipped and mapped, this removes the rev limiter etc

If you could, expect them to be nearly £1000! Do you have an NA or TT?

as gay as it may sound what does AT + TT

tt maybe twinturbo and the other not , if so mines the twin

if i can get a UK set of dials, and i put them in to my car will it start to count in miles other than kph , and if i convert the kph (what on there at the moment) in to miles and adjust the new odemeter will it die the counters. ?

also

Im guessing that all the dials for these cars are universal as in they can be taken out of one and stright into anohter with out having to do anything to them, obs you wont be able to put a dial with the gauge under the kph dial into a car that hasnt got a gauge under the kph dial (i dont know what that gauge is called as i dont have one)

If you car is a 96 then earlier model clocks will not fit, you may be able to take them apart and make parts fit but its not a straight forward swap!!

Also please remember that you are not allowed to sell or post wanted ads and this is very close to being one already ;)

Well worth subscribing buddy

i will be at the end of the month, it just finding funds at the mo, surely advice doesnt cost

As said in the previous post, no pre 96 clocks are a direct fit to your car, the plugs are different, you would need to take the dials from say, the 94 you might get and place them into your 96 clock binnacle, you wont have any screw fixings for the boost gauge, so you can either hot glue the gauge in place( not the best solution) or get indiglow dials for an N/A or replace the face with an N/A( defeats the object of uk clocks though).

The oddometer will still read in kph

that gonna be hard to find jap/or uk dials for the 1996 version then surely , the reason why i asked it that most things you get will fall invbetween 1990 and 1996

i guess you cant buy uk dials new now

you can buy the speedo face section new, last time i enquired a couple of years ago it was over £400 for that alone

Right ok im lost now and need some help quick, i dont want to loose out on this item ,

i was told that they stopped selling uk dials etc in 1994 so theres no way that i could source some uk dials for my 1996 , is this true. also from what you have written your saying that 1994 dials and 1996 dials are differant despite them looking the same. as in both of them dont have that turbo gauge on them. i dont want to say to this guy that i will have them if they wont fit. please tell me everything i need to know as i dont want to fook anything up.

The dials look the same from the front. The shape of the dial face is slightly different on your clocks( not that you can see without taking apart)

MOST importantly, the plug fittings on the back of the dash are different and will not fit.

You will have to do alot of mods to get it to work

fook it then , ive got used to reading t in kph now so ill leave it , i do need another cluster though for a 1996 if anyone is breaking one etc , dont care if its in kph as ill just change the dial , if i can. to mph , dont want to convert it now as it can cause issues etc. its one of them things if it anit broke why fook with it . some kn0brot thought it would be a good idea to superglue the plastic clear lens to the cluster so i cant remove it to put my chrome rings in there. so hench why i need a new one, i was hoping i could get a striaght swap uk dial wise but guess not , trust me to get the later version of car :)

by the way if anyone is looking for a set of 1994 UK dials i suggest you look at this link, he will ship to the UK for about £40, i was keeping it close to my chest but its no good now , groover you have been a great help (legend)

I was under the impression that all UK Z32's went up to 180+, and not 160 as in that eBay ad?

Correct... the 160MPH ones were the USA ones...

If its the black dash surround with, the perspex, i have a spare, it will fit any series as its just the front, with lugs
