What are the changes in the interior from the earliest 89 Zed to the latest 00 Zed?

 

Interested in all interior in front of the front seats. So door cards, Switches, Dash, pods, speedo cluster.

 

And can you fit a earlier Zed with the later parts?

I'll have a complete series two (95 J spec TT) interior soon with both from seats electrically operated. It's in very good nick and Zedworld will confirm.

 

The reason the whole interior is for sale is that I bought the whole interior off another Zed to be retrimmed in Leather and thats being done.

I am more interested what the difference actually were to the interior.

As far as I'm aware... not a lot :D

Apart from the fabric on the panels, the Air-Con control was changed, the dash clocks surround was changed, ie; more indication lamps were placed next to the dials and removed from either side of the steering column (although they still left the original locations, but with blank lenses), the steering wheel changed/addition of a second stalk for the Cruise Control........................

 

Now I'm really trying to rack my brains as to anything else that was changed.

 

As for fitting a later interior into an older shell, I don't see why not, don't think anything was changed there as far as fittings are concerned.

The window switches, that Si mentioned, are, the Air-Con is but the clocks etc aren't without a bit of surgery to the loom, due to different plugs on the rear. Also the different steering wheel is only transferable if you HAVEN'T got Cruise, as I'm told to have the extra stalk fitted you need a new, slightly longer, steering column fitted.
