Hi Peter,

It's probably very close mate! That XKR runs almost 400bhp and despite the weight they are very fast cars; I believe 0-60 comes in anywhere between 5.2 and 5.5 (someone will correct me if I'm wrong) and they are very quick to 100...............

.........a standard ZX twin turbo would have to be in very good running order to stand a chance IMO. But if it is, then I doubt there's much in it!

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

ive not been in it yet. he picks it up on sunday

the engine in my zed is in great condition its just not producing much boost.

once sorted with a john dixion chip i hope to be running 15psi so should be around 350 to 38hp

im sure it must only be producing around 200 at the moment.

really looking forward to seing the jag though. such good value for money now.

its a later 4.2 with around 80k on the clock and fjsh. he paid 12 for it 6 years ago it was over 60!

infact its the same guy who picked the wheels up off you.

in case i forgot to say thanks, thanks for the wheels. they are serving me proud untill i get the new ones on.:hyper:

They're quick, very quick indeed. My Zed is knocking out 383 bhp and one out accelerated me very convincinely.

Its a long story from a long time ago, but, on the Grimthorpe Colliery Bypas(dead and quiet most of the time) was coming back from a Z meet, anyways i past him at 170:D we ran out of road at a roundabout junction, he turning left me right, no traffic waited a few seconds for him , looked over, he was fookin white with shock, stuffed him, and i could of gone faster, fookin love these Zs, will take that blast to me grave. I was running 361bhp at the hubs. Either way i was going to have him, just dont take ya foot off the gas till you pass, Jag owner will bottle it before you.

No worries - you're welcome mate!!

That 4.2 version is damn fast - and there's a company (if they're still around) near me called Paramount Performance who specialize in upgrading the Jags. Some of their XKRs push out 5-600bhp:bow:
