A mate of mine has just bought a 90 TT Manual Ive a had a look and the drivers side is blowing alot between the turbo and downpipe its making the car very noisy, and its running very lumpy, but no smoke what so ever. wheres the best place for new gaskets or does the old cornflake box and gum gum trick work.

 

any help would be appreciated

I went to nissan personally, cost me about 12 quid for 2 front pipe gaskets and the bolts. Funnily enough when i actually got the gaskets they were more like large rings, not like im used too but i fitted it and it worked perfectly so.
