Just off the phone to Thor racing and they are reporting that the mapping is going well and everything will be finished on Thursday morning. They have only ran it up to about 8 or 10 psi at present and are getting good power from that. He asked me what sort of power figures i thought would be achieved, but i have got no idea!

 

So,

 

I would like to run a small guess the power competition!

 

The member who guesses the closest to the final flywheel power figure that is achieved by Thursday afternoon i will donate £20 to a charity of their choice.

Nope, no uprated cams. ;)

you have to remember thor's readings are a little weird as there at the hubs so according to a few people there closer to the fly than the wheels ;)

 

i'm going to say 493 at the hubs

what CAS are you using?

 

I bought a new CAS and iirc it was to fit on to the new loom so it will be the newer CAS. I have just seen your post about changing a component within the CAS, what was that for?

Fix a very occasional hiccup with the AEM. Will let you know how I get on as we're struggling to get it working properly.

jaffa is it the timing disc mod you are on about?? for the cas, cos i'm gonna have to do mine to stop the occasional hiccup.....:(

Im not going down until next Tuesday to collect and was on the phone to them today. The mapper, Peter, is abroad until tommorrow and will be finishing the mapping on Thursday morning. They were having a bit of difficulty fitting the doolz, firstly because it needed a second base plate for the air filter to fit on as i am removing the Maf and also the fact that the base plate supplied was warped! They have made 2 new plates now. Also it is very tight for space so i think they may modify the tubeing to fit. I have just emailed them the Leader Gear ratio's and OS Giken ratios incase they need that. Better for them to know just incase! Centre of Gravity is collecting the car from them on Thursday afternoon and they have assured me it will be ready! I am glad i gave them lots of time as with the Jap show last weekend they got a couple of urgent last minute jobs in so i gave them some slack.

i hope all goes well bazz and they do a good job

 

where are you having both filters? i had mine under the noze panel then we routed them down to where the side mounts used to be :)
