September 30, 200916 yr garage called today, emmissions are out because of pipes at the back of engine conencted wrong/going to nowhere only thing i can think of is the EGR. (unless anyone thinks anything else) now the EGR solenoid is removed from the car, and the take-off on the side of the engine is blocked off. but the EGR valve itself is still there on the back of the engine. will this casue a vacuum leak? or will it be re-dundant as there is no solenoid/pipe from the engine going to it
October 1, 200916 yr should be fine mate. i would check the idle valves, i had a leak from mine and the hoses connecting to the plenum
