You cannot i don't think, i asked Alan [stella] to amend mine as he is a mod

I seemed to manage it! I just edited my original post and at the top it let me change the title.

Not to doubt you or anything but are you sure you managed that? You changed the title of your thread? The words that people click on to enter your thread.

It was one in the for sale section regarding some wheels.

In future mate, just post that you have reduced the price and just put a note asking a mod to amend the title for you. That way it will get changed but it also bumps your thread :)

Well maybe a coincidence or summit as i'm fairly certain only mods can edit thread titles once they're submitted.

I did'nt realise it cos i have never had to do it myself but if the thread starter clicks go advanced and changes the title then it should in fact change the thread title that people click on.

maybe it happened whe the forum software was upgraded as it never used to do it, i tried ages ago even when i was a mod and it was only something a comittee member could do
