Thought I'd update as I have completed a few little bits and pieces. Any views, advice, questions welcome.

Throttle cable bracket cut to follow curve of plenum bolt hole, then chromed.

Idea here is to expose more of the gulley in the middle when viewed from front. Throttle cable adjuster refurbed satin black. All stainless cap bolts. Fuel rail pipe replace with stainless braided hoses and red anodised clamps. All injecter locator bolts replaced with stainless cap bolts. Throttle cover bolt hole lug ground off from front right hand side of throttle cable guard.

Fuel Damper painted and lacquered EH3 red Stainless hose replacement with anodised finishers. Coil packs repainted satin black, new stainless cap bolts, coil pack brackets chromed (Slick Pete), stainless button top bolts. Boost hoses replaced with Viper Performance silicon and brass T pieces. Balance bar sanded down and polished, throttle cable guide bracket ground off and smoothed over and chromed (Slick Pete).

Fuel Pressure Regulator replaced with Aeromotive style adjustable regulator and relocated to inner wing. Idea here was to de-clutter the polished plenum. Fuel filter replaced with Sytec Hi-Flow race filter. Speedflow red anodised in line cut off valve fitted using -6 JIC compression fittings, Stainless braided hose fitted. All red silicone replaced with Viper Performance heavy duty silicone.

Mission accomplished - Uncluttered plenum revealing the polished central valley. Throttle cover bolt holder lugs ground off. Also de-cluttered by re-routing new injector connector and Coil packs wiring under the plenum.

Spal PWM fan controler installed to run and monitor new Zirgo electric fan. Brake servo vacuum hose re-routed and replaced with Viper Performance heavy duty re-enforced silicon piping. Sytec brass fittings installed.

Front View.

Fan bolted straight onto Koyo rad. Full Unortadox underdrive pulley set.

Full 120k cam belt service thanks to Silverbullet at very reasonable cost.

Carbon slam panels fitted and engine bay Tcut back to original paint where possible. Series 2 PTU and temp sender wires all hidden.

And finally..... slight angle!!

Next job is to tidy up wires next to fuse box and fit some nice coilovers with pillow ball top mounts to replace tired looking OEM ones.

And that is basically why I didn't go out very much for the first 3 months of spring Summer!!!!!!

Funnily enough mate, it's partly your fault for having your car next to mine at Billing 08 and putting my engine bay to shame!!!! Thought I'd better get my arse in gear after that!

Cheers budddy.

It's all polished alloy. Metal stuff like balance bar and throttle cable bracket are chrome.

The pipes are from Speedflow - http://www.speedflowshop.co.uk/100-series-stainless-steel-nitrile-rubber-hose-system-1-c.asp

Great job and inspirational

Yeah, yeah, you say that noe but once you get into it I bet you will get carried away. Polishing is adictive. If you don't believe me you can ask my therapist.
