It’s exactly two years since Lamborghini unveiled the Reventon at the 2007 Frankfurt motor show. And to celebrate' date=' the Raging Bull has gone and lopped the top off. It must have been one heck of a party. Anyways, the result is this, the Reventon Roadster. Lamborghini will build just 20. Even at a cool 1.1 million Euros (plus tax) - that’s currently around £972,500 [or $1,605,000'] - we’re pretty sure they have all already sold out by this point. A 670hp 6.5-litre V12 provides the action - 3.4 to 62, 205mph - while jet fighters inspire the visual drama. Einstein required to reassemble the roof.

There is someone over on PistonHeads who's family own the ONLY officially UK delivered Reventon Coupe in the UK. It is up for sale currently as they have the Roadster on order. The (Roadster) production figures are a bit iffy with some media reporting 20 units and others 15 units. I believe the official figure quoted by Lamborghini is 15 units with one additional one for their museum. Only 21 Reventon Coupes were built with number 00 belonging to Lamborghini themselves (you may have seen it displayed in one of the Top Gear episodes recently). I think both versions are sublime although I'm not sure they warrant the exorbitant premium over the current LP640 and LP670SV.
