whats the other feedback for and how much, they sometimes boost there own feedback up.

Tis true its very risky handing over your hard earned without seeing it etc..... But from the sellers point of view, he is taking his time to travel to you etc and probably wants some kind of reassurance you aint gonna w4nk him about!

 

If you are really interested in it mate and you think you can trust him i'd negotiate the amount down if you can and put some faith in it :)

Only fair if the vehicle is exactly as described + you have delivered, you dont want to be turned away, or find out they are 12 on their doorstep.

car is a damaged vehicle, he has other cars on fleabay and has feedback from companys like ford direct and parts to go, only thing is saves me travelling down as im very busy at work

sounds about right if he has to hire a flat back, time + gas etc.

 

But if he dosnt turn up :(

Don't do a bank transfer! Not covered by Customer Protection on eBay. Getting your money back if it turns sour is a right pain in the arse, it will cost you more than £500 in legal fees. Deffo scam

If its as desrcibed i will be taking it so its upto you to deliver it then, but ovioulsy you will pay the cash for it but will not put a deposit down.

What car is it Al. It is a dodgy ol business leaving a depositt on Ebay. You might get stung with no claim. Buy safe. I got 2 cars to choose from 2000 Pug 306 GTi6. 1994 Skyline 2.0 N/A. both around a grand each????:)

offer him a smaller deposit and if he dont take it then theres something not right but, if he has discribed it 'as is' on ebay then he should have no problem.

could be a hijacked ebay account, good feedback, but can't use paypal as it's linked to the real users bank account

well i have someone going to view the car today for me, someone from this site, all wil be revealed if it goes ok, he is trying to end the sale early for me if all is ok
