Hesitancy

After removing the inlet pipes, mas sensor etc in order to remove the n/s headlight, the car started to die when acccelerating whilst warming up. The revs were sitting 1000rpm higher on tickover as well.

admittedly, I did try starting the car while the mas was removed - would this put the settings on the ecu all out of wack?

I took the car for a 5 mile trip and it seems back to normal now:confused:

I made sure all pipe work was back on properly and the fact that it is running ok now would suggest confused ecu settings.

Solved. The TPS lower connector had become pulled apart in all the excitement

it just puts the motor into "limp mode" and corrects when put back and you have a fresh start..no harm done;)
