...after having the kit knocking about for 18 months or so :smash: I thought it's now time to get cracking!
I got the rears done in about 2 1/2 hours - I was surprised at how straight-forward the job was. i think the trickiest part was trying to get those damn plastic ties to thread back around the frame of the seat. after the tenth one i worked out that if i pushed one finger down one side, then tried to slide the tie from the other side up my nail then it did the job (i think the ties i bought were a little too small to work with, but patience payed off in the end)
i also have blue trim to replace all the tweed cards etc. but i think it may be too light (its like an electric blue) to go with the darkness of the blue in the seats. will have to put some of it up temporarily with blu-tac or double-sided tape and see what i think.
im loving the colour and am very pleased with the quality of the material, and what id achieved in an afternoon. passenger-side seat next (maybe this weekend) - this will definately be trickier but im ready for it. bring it on! woooooo!
ps. i took this photo before i screwed the top back in, so the two halves look a little off-cock
