like my other post kind of explains i am going to start the car in the next couple of weeks. Apart from battery dead and probably killed from the deep drain is there anything that i need to look out for when starting it?

My car has loud tappeting after leaving for 1 week of not driving it so i worry that leaving it for 3 months means ill probably wreck the engine on startup :(

when you start it let the oil warm up and circulate properly before blasting it, but shouldnt be a problem, cant see the engine seizing up after that period of time

phew... thats a relief then... lets hope the brakes and gearbox havnt fully siezed hahahaa

again when its warm and you are driving it... take it slow check brakes etc but all should be fine

Don't leave it running at idle to warm up drive it straight away and keep below 2.5K-3K revs until you're happy that the oil is warmed and the pressure is good and all is running as it should; I'd give it an oil change aswell.

Brakes may need to bed back in so take it carefully.

No Worries.... :duffer:

As said, best to drive straight away as warms up a lot quicker with a bit of load on it than just sat idling. should all be fine though.

im excited to drive it again however i have never had this car running standard due to its unknown problem so should feel quicker too once (and if) i find the culprit. however simply to drive it again makes my heart beat (i know i'm sad)

go out and start it and take it for a slow drive then come back if there are any issues, as i predict you are worrying over something that possibly will not happen.. go and try it first ;) If something doesnt feel right or you notice some a bit dodgy then let us know. and we can go from there.

odds are you will get in and everything will be like normal.
