Too FEW miles??

Hi guys,

Have a look at this:

Clicky

The guy seems keen to sell it and it reads well on paper. I just wondered whether the mileage was TOO low? Perhaps it hasnt been used enough for parts to have kept ticking over?

Am a bit of a n00b, apologies if the question reads that way!

Cheers!

Average mileage reading for an Import tbh. Wether its accurate or not is another matter.

My own Slicktop mileage reading is 36,000

Most JDM cars have been clocked. If that was genuine, I doubt he'd sell it for so little, even if it was an auto.

Best way to check is to view. Look at the general state of the interior. Look also at the state of the suspension components. Genuine low mileage JDM cars will not even have any surface scab on them, higher mileage ones will have scabby paint.

My Z was low mileage, but my interior looked almost new and the underside was cleaner than a 1 year old car over here! LOL

Interesting. I have no experience of imports until I got into the idea of getting a Z in the last couple of months. Is there any kind of Import buying guide on this forum?

Whats JDM, by the way??

And is even cleaner now than a 1 month old car.;)

mine has 50 odd thousand miles with history, like Si says look under the car and interior. Mine has no rust or ware, seen a few with stated similar miles and they looked very tied.

Mine had the odoemeter super glued so it wouldn't turn when i bought it! God knows what it had done, all brand spank now tho, so doesn't really matter :-)

i recognise this car!!!!!

hang on...... its my car lol!!!!

yea this is my car up for sale!!

just lost my job so need the funds!!!

really is a good sound zed, i bought it only 2 months ago as a project but now no job and bills to pay so has got to go :(

unsure if mileage is correct as i havnt got mch paper work with it but it was imported in 1998 thats all i know!!
