Possible detonantion a bit technical

Firstly i had dett issues some 18 months ago, after by passing with a 1mohm resistor all was good. pulls like mad and is running 14psi with boost jets.

However, whilst on route to Thorpe park today it started to feel lumpy at the top end of boost. It was quick, but not as much as before.

Then i noticed it was running at safety boost only 7psi.

A couple of days back i let it run a bit low trying to get to the petrol station.

i checked the resistor and all is good, have re cleaned the throttle bodies and they are still very clean, after the day, i put some injector cleaner in with fuel. still running a bit pants, then all of a sudden it goes back to hitting 14psi, and back to normal.

I havent reset the ecu or done a diagnostic yet. what would have caused it?

do the ecu's self learn as so to speak, as nothing has changed.

Surely if the injectors were a bit clogged up by running very low on fuel, then they still would be.

Can them getting a clean really make such a difference.?????????

Hi matey, check out the thread below I posted it sometime back it explains how recircs can be the very cause of your problem so assuming you still have them in place and not dump valves of course, but would put money on it that the cause is them, answers why sometimes the power comes back when they shut correctly.
