ive just been to halfrauds and they only have spray carb/filter cleaner. does anyone have or know where i can get from (or know what i can use as a replacement) any cleaner that you leave your filter to soak in?

 

ive just replaced mine with the one i got from ChrisD :bow: and although the old one is dirty as owt, its still in good nick and im sure could be cleaned and used again.

what make of filter is it? you have to be carefull, some filters can only be cleaned with water

what ever you do dont put an oil spray ie (k&n) on the apexi filter, they are a dry filter

 

have a look at some old threads, im sure some said to use a high pressure air jet on the filter to raise the dirt

the best way to clean an Apexi filter is with luke warm water running through from inside to out, then left in the airing cupboard over night to dry.

i originally brought a second filter to use whilst the other one was drying but, now i've got both of them on:wack:
