Took the callipers off my series 1 breaker today. Just wondering if they are stock s1 alloy ones? They look a lot better than the iron lumps on my s2 so was going to swap (after a refurb).

 

They look identical to my calipers matey, and mine is a series I.

I thought that S1 cars had iron calipers, the S2 had aluminium; then Nissan reverted to iron after that......

Other way around IIRC (prob not lol!) I know the Alloy ones were light but did warp under alot of pressure! Iron ones are heavier but didnt warp.

The ones with the fins were alloy.

Since my zed won't be going on the track, would these be better than the iron s2's?

uk had iron and j-spec had alloy as far as i know

They are the lighter alloy calipers. Nissan reverted to the Iron calipers later on.
