Put some commercial Unipart injector cleaner in my fuel, filled it up with super 99 and now its smokes on full boost, what looks to be like white smoke...

 

Is this headgasket? Turbo`s? Turbo seals or something else??

No - it's probably the injector cleaner being burned off. IIRC one of the major ingredients in injector cleaners is parafin (or kerosene in the USA).

 

That, along with the gunk it's supposedly cleaned from your internals;), is probably causing the smoke. It will do the same if you clean the throttle bodies with carb cleaner - until all the crap has been burnt away in the combustion chambers.

Hmmm, I diluted the cleaner with a full tank of fuel today, and the smoke continues on full boost, also on tickover (after warming up/or after a drive takes approx 5 mins).

 

Sometimes its the left exhaust, other times it the right exhaust and sometimes its both, and its a white smoke that has a definate smell of something burning.

 

Could it be piston rings? Or is it likely to be turbos?

 

Either way, what should I do? Where should I get it looked at?

have you ever redexed a car directly into the cylinders!? trust me you`ll cover the neighbourhood, so prob just crap being burnt off.

I wouldnt worry to much, sounds just the crud being burnt after being removed.

when i first got my zed, i used some wynns injector cleaner, for a while it was coughing out crap. But now it is nothing, and i still pour a bottle of it in every third full tank of petrol.

 

If you want to see what effects years worth of carbon build up, do a throttle body / plenium clean with carb / injection cleaner. Now that makes if smoke, but a few miles of use and it is a massive difference, how much the engine btreathes better.

What he said - don't worry about it for the time being.

 

As long as your coolant level remains constant and there's no overheating the the HG is fine. And oil will of course be blue smoke;)

Ho Ho Ho, yes I did that once to a Peugeot 405 SRi and I won't be doing it again any time soon :D
