I have to tell someone!!! My wife is a bit sick of this fookin car!! and i am also:mad:

After 3 autoboxes, 1 engine......dragging the car all around Europe. Then getting the car back to get smashed up the rear........getting the body kit on etc.....then more gearbox probs......then hitting a fox to smash all the rear bumper again........just to get it back over here in Germany again to notice it has decided to start smoking on idle. Its oil :headvswal i have replaced everything except the turbos:headvswal. All this has been happening over the last 3 yrs. The thing is the car seems to spend more time away in UK etc...than i get to use it. With the costs of travel etc n everything else, im loosing faith for the first time in the car. Just can't believe i spent all that money doing it up to have the 300zx curse to creep up and bum me once more............

Rant over:headvswal:cry::cry:

think thats the same senario most of us have but its worth keeping just for that one day of magic when you remember this is why i love this car

yup happened to me, if i had somewhere to store like a garage or drive then i would still have it, but alas it went for 2k and is now getting a makeover

Keep your chin up bud. It is a stunning motor.

You have come this far. you might as well just finish it off. Other wise it would of been a waste of money :(

I will try......thanks for the comments. Its so strange because it only smokes on idle.:headvswal It wont smoke on normal driving. Just after it has sat on tick over for about 20-30 secs. The PCV valves have been done. I have been told there was some oil in the pipes etc....when work was done on it. Its not de catted but the turbos are the only thing thats not been looked at.:cry:

[sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

Could be the valve stem seals , if it does it only on tick over , hope im wrong !

yer thought that all so bud......but reading the other probs on the site its sounding like the tubs. If it was the stem seals at least i could do that without removing the engine LOL

[sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

I know nothing ref turbos , engine wise a bit , hope its some thing cheap and easy and you sort it easily mate:)

yup 2k, its gone to a good home though, hope you get yours sorted, did you change all the pipes when ou did the pcv's????, mine used to smoke on idle and it was just the pcv pipes totally blocked

[sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

i think in total there are 5-6 pcv pipes

Pretty sure there is only x2 pcv pipes and x2 valves, i changed mine about a week ago
