ive had a look through the forum and am i right in thinking all you do is join the 2 feed pipes together under the bonnet ? and will this bring the hicas light on?

LOL wont be driving up that far, spent 5 hours on the m25 today to pick up my new exhaust from plazmaduck:cool:

no probs bud, be carefull as to what coupling to join the pipes up you got, the american one was bent slighlty and the uk and japs are striaght (joining the pipes at the back)

Bugger, mines bent (wahey!) does this mean I need to get hold of a UK or JDM one?

post a pic mate, is it being joined at the back, ask dtuk about it (danny), easily solved if it is, just join at the front

 

i joined mine like this (where the copper pipe is), but looking at the pic the bit that goes into the left of the pipe needs a olive niping on as its a bit thicker than the pipe on the left (if that makes sence lol)

 

Haven't got a clue how it will go tbh mate, I haven't really looked into it yet. I worked out what to do with the mechanical side but wasn't sure about the fluid lines.

yup sure that is the wrong one, looks like the one i got to couple the pipes at the back

if you remove the full system completely then you can just join the hoses that come from the pump to the resoviour. saves a lot of weight too.

Right all done :D i joined the 2 pipes together under the bonnet so no leaks and the hicas light hasnt come on :confused:

i have left the 2 pipes unblocked at the back (where the rack was) is that ok?

also put my new japspeed exhaust on sounds lovely :D

yup thats ok, you can now remove the hicas pump from under the bonnet

will do soon, im suprised the hicas light hasnt come on tho?
