I know Spunky Hifi is going to hate it but does anyone know what this is? I'm running an oil cooler under my nose panel and chevy engines run HOT so need as much cold air to go through it as possible and this would be ideal:

I like it, it looks like the slot you get in the front stock bumper so i think it suits the car and it gets the air in lower down which is what i need

car mad does one- but its not everyones cup of tea, its the double vent one-- 1 lower slot and 1 upper slot all on the same panel.. and that gives the right car a mean look.

I do like his but you need a pretty OTT bodykit to pull it off i think and mine is going to be relatively subtle

tbh might be easier for me to just do that, not an especially difficult job if i use the stock nosepanel plus i can get a tighter fit to the oil cooler so it forces air through it rather than floating through it.

Bomex did one similar. Actually don't mind it and think it's pretty complimentary. It's the nostril ones that look awful.....really awful.

Yep i know but it's the only one i had lying around that i own unfortunately.

Looks like i'll be doing some fabricating on the old nosepanel then.....

Bomex.

The big vented one you like you can get off american ebay.

Or if you just want a plain smooth GRP one you want to chop up give me a pm ;)

I modded my standard nose panel to a nice vent. Very easy to do, just cut the size you want at the top, cut down and "fold" down the edges, lots of filler for the edges that become "gaps", smooth off, bit of paint, and jobs a good 'un, with minimal price. Pics in my ride section.

That might be worth a shot, thinking i'll get it all working and on the road the do some temperature tests on the engine bay, engine coolant and oil temp and try different things to see what's the best combo.

This is the type of vent i'm going to try and fabricate but keep it bodycoloured:
